modem USB sam si

Witam.

Posiadam modem USB optiona i używam go przez program gammu. Ostatnio bardzo często w niespodziewanym momencie przerywa on połączenie i aby ponownie był poprawnie widziany przez system, trzeba zrestartować komputer (nie jest widziany pod ttyUSB0). Debian Lenny:

Jeżeli tak, to sytuacja jest u mnie nieco inna. Modem działa ok, ale nagle przestaje (i jak widać w logać - montuje się jeszcze raz). Potem nie chce już działać pod ttyUSB0.
Nie jestem pewien (nie mam fizycznego dostępu do kompa), ale gdy wyjmie się modem z usb (działa dobrze) i wepnie w ten sam port usb, też przestaje działać pod ttyUSB0. Aby działał, kabel musi być podłączony w momencie uruchamiania komputera.
