Witam.

Ostatnio zaktualizowałem system z Lenny do wersji testowej i najbardziej mnie wnerwił nowy xorg + wszystko co jest z nim związane.

Na Lenny filmy w 720p odtwarzały się płynnie dzięki zastosowaniu opcji w smplayerze, przetwarzanie końcowe, a odnośnie sterowników to używałem na otwartych. A tu w wersji testowej nie chciał mi się uruchomić na moim starym pliku xorg.conf. Więc go usunąłem, niby działam na tych otwartych sterownikach dalej ale jest dość duży spadek wydajności wyświetlania filmów ,,za duży''. Dodatkowo nie mogę zmienić ilości Hz i mam te 3d niby ale chyba podziękuję.

Czy można wrócić do tego sterownika z Lennego bo tamten miał lepsze wsparce w 2d, a 3d nie obsługiwał (wolę mieć samo 2d byle szybkie). Np. wormux w Lenny miał stale 50 klatek, a w wersji testowej ma lekko ponad 20.

Prawdopodobnie używałeś sterwników nv (co wnioskuje z twojej wypowiedzi) , a po przejściu do gałęzi testowej używasz sterwoników nouveau.
Wystarczy tylko zmienić w xorg.conf sterownik na nv

Sterownik nv nie obsługuje 3d lecz np. sterownik radeon, radeonhd, flxgr obsługuje 3d.
Można założyć także, że autor używał sterownika Vesa lecz on sam ma niską wydajność w trybie 2d.

Gdy nie zostanie doinstalowany pakiet, o którym wspomniałem to także i na nowszych Radeonach nie ma akceleracji 3D. Przypomniało mi się też, że jeszcze niedawno w Sidzie miałem ten sam problem, musiałem czekać na nową wersję firmware-linux-nonfree. Nie wiem, czy trafiła ona już do wersji testowej.

Zamkniętych sterowników nie chcę, totalna porażka

Karta to ati xpress 200 (zintegrowana na płycie głównej).

W Lennym używałem sterownika ati w sekcji ,,driver'' pliku xorg.conf i chciałbym przy nim pozostać. Miał dużą wydajność 2d lecz 3d nie obsługiwał.

Nadal nie bardzo mnie interesuje 3d.

Doinstalowałem ten pakiet lecz nadal nic nie chce ruszyć. Z ati bez xorga system najprawdopodobniej korzysta z vesy.

Tak jak napisałem, możliwe, że w testingu jest jeszcze starsza wersja pakietu, z którym miałem ten sam problem (Radeon HD3650). Możesz spróbować ściągnąć i zainstalować go z sida, ale w razie czego nie biorę odpowiedzialności za skutki jakby coś się stało
