Mam problem. Otóż posiadam dysk zewnętrzny 80GB, którego normalnie używałem pod Debianem. Nie wiem, dlaczego, ale przestał się on montować, tzn. niby montuje się na parę sekund, ale zaraz znika. Później przy próbie montowania (dodam, że bardzo długiej) pojawia się komunikat:
Zgrałem dane na dysk w laptopie rodziców i dodatkowo sformatowałem go na czysto (wcześniej był Fat32, teraz dałem na NTFS, ale efekt jest ten sam). Nie chce montować go nawet po formacie. Oto kilka przydatnych rzeczy.

Zauważyłem dziwną rzecz. Otóż przedwczoraj odkryłem, że przewód do dysku, który był dodany standardowo, w jednym miejscu przestał stykać, i trzeba było go wyginać w tym miejscu, żeby zaskoczył. Kiedy wróciłem do domu, znalazłem zastępczy przewód, który był z jednej strony bardziej elastyczny, jeśli chodzi o giętkość, a poza tym, był odczuwalnie cieńszy, ale po podłączeniu go do odtwarzacza DVD (z wyjściem usb na penmdrive) i laptopa rodziców z Windowsem Vistą na pokładzie nie widziałem żadnych problemów. Teraz na próbę podpiąłem dysk na starym kablu do swojego komputera, i o dziwo wszystko działa. Tylko pozostaje pytanie, dlaczego nie działa na tamtym? Co z nim jest takiego innego, że nie potrafi się to połączyć?
