moj poprzedni laptop sie zpalil i mam naowego...na starym mmialem ndiswrappera z ipw2200 i nie bylo problemu wrzystko ladnie dzialao...teraz mam rtl8587b ...co robilem :

znalazlem gdzies ze nie dzialaja stery z XP i zeby zainstalowac z win98...wienc tak zrobilem i tez widzie karte ale wciaz sie nielaczy robie tak :
1.modprobe -r ndiswrapper
2.ndiswrapper -r net8187b.inf
3.module-assistant ->buuild->install ndiswrapper
4.ndiswrapper -i /stery/win98/net8187b.inf
5.ndiswrapper -m
i tu sie pojawia problem :

A próbowałeś wyłączyć szyfrowanie na routerze i sprawdzić czy łączy? Ja miałem właśnie z tym problem. Pomimo wpisanego szyfrowania nie łączyło, po czasie dopiero zaskoczyło. Ale przed tym grzebałem z wyłączonym szyfrowaniem i działało.

nic nie dalo...dzieki za podpowiedz...ktos mi powiedzial na innych forach zeby sprobowac update do sida zrobic i wtedy moze pojdzie wogole bez dodatkowych sterow...wienc nie wiem..btw ta karta jest na usb podlaczona ...moze komus cos to podpowie..

Z tegop co ja rozumiem to widzi ta karte ale z jakiegos powodu jest wylaczona, powinienes sie pogrzebac i zopbaczyc dalczego.
Co do tego sida to bym chyba sie wstrzymal, przynajmniej narazie.
Rozumiem ze jak wtykasz kabel do sieciowki to jest wszystko ok. Czy wogole nie dziala net pod linuchem?
Wlasnie doczytalem na innym poscie :)

heja jestem teraz na viscie i nie moge podac wyniku ale proboje sie polaczyc i nie ma zdnaje odpowiedzi cos w stylu NODHCPOFFERS czy cos takiego...wlasnie siedze na googolu i szukam...nie moge nic z tym zrobic..to jest karta na usb i lsusb ja widzi..a do sida juz aktualizowalem/upgradowalem do 2.6.23 i wciaz nic..nei wiem ...jesli chodzi kable to tak dziala..ale siedze w przedpokoju na krzesle jak ten kolek ;) wienc walcze z wifi jak moge i narazie 21:0 dla realteka...
wienc jeszcze raz net dziala..ndiswrapper zaladowany -> widzi karte nie laczy...inne stery widzi karte nie laczy...nawet raz czy dwa iwlist wlan0 scan wykryl mi sieci ale wciaz nie laczyl..ale na bank to nie wina access pointa bo winshit dziala a na starym lapku mialem ipw2200 i ten sam AP i laczyl sie ladnie i dziala..tylko ze wtedy bylo przezndiswrappera ...acha i musialem wgrac firmware...z tym ze nigdzie na google ludzie nic do tej karty nie wspominaja o firmwa. wienc nie poszedlem w tym kiedunku..jakies pomysly?
