Błąd przy próbie instalacji GRUBa

Zacznę od początku:

Error 12: Invalid device requested
Wiem, że coś jest z menu.lst ale nie wiem co. Ostatnio nie mam czasu siedzieć przy kompie i rozkminiać więc wybaczcie, że z takim problemem się do Was zwracam. Instalowałem z konieczności windę i teraz nie mam dostępu do zainstalowanego debiana. Tylko z livecd...

Grub "liczy" partycje od 0, nie od 1. Jedyna partycja (a właściwie dysk logiczny) z linuksowym systemem plików to u Ciebie sda5, czyli (hd0,4). Zakładam, że tam właśnie masz Debiana.

Jeśli zaś chodzi o menu.lst, to masz ustawione bootowanie Debiana z partycji NTFS, a Windowsa z partycji swap.

Najszybciej doprowadzisz to do porządku zmieniając wpisy w menu.lst na poprawne (z poziomu livecd). Następnie instalacja gruba w mbr, ewentualnie możesz użyć supergrubdiska, który zrobi to za Ciebie (link).
