po aktualizacji brak dźwi

Dzisiaj rano wykonałem aktualizację systemu. System to Debian Testing (Squeeze) z dodanymi repozytoriami Unstable (Sid), jądro wersja 2.6.28-amd64, jednakże obecnie bez zależności z tego drugiego.
Wszystko działało w porządku. Wyłączyłem komputer i uruchomiłem go ponownie po kilku godzinach. Teraz mam problem z co najmniej trzema różnymi rzeczami:

Modem do internetu bezprzewodowego podłączony pod /dev/tty/USB0 i wdzwaniany podczas uruchamiania przy użyciu wvdial jest niewykrywany. Lekarstwem na to jest rozłączenie go i ponowne podłączenie. Za drugim razem system już go widzi.
Mysz na PS/2, która działała -- nie działa. System uruchamia się bez jej obsługi. Pomaga dopiero

Zainstalowałem jądro z Sida 2.6.29-amd64, jednak problem nie zniknął. Nadal nie ładuje automatycznie modułów, a dźwięku i tak nie mogę załadować. Pomimo wykonania

fnmirk, dodanie modułów do /etc/modules poskutkowało i jest OK. Tzn. uruchamia mi się system z dźwiękiem oraz obsługą myszy.
Sheryph, natrafiłem już wcześniej na ten temat, jednak i tak w niczym mi to nie pomogło. Komunikat jak był, tak jest nadal.
Nadal jest problem z modemem. Z komputera nie korzystam sam. Druga osoba nie jest obeznana z konsolą, dlatego podczas uruchamiania systemu podlinkowałem automatyczne uruchamianie internetu. Jednak teraz, kiedy pojawił się problem ze złym wykrywaniem modemu i koniecznością odłączenia i ponownego podłączenia go, automatyczne uruchamianie nie działa.
Czy konieczne jest dodanie jeszcze jakiegoś modułu do modules, który zapobiegnie zabawom z modemem?

Jako załącznik dodaję syslog (bo w temacie coś się rozjechało), może ktoś wyczyta, dlaczego nie działa modem. Według mnie, teoretycznie wszystko jest dobrze, bo wykrywa HUAWEI i powinno działać bezproblemowo.

Na sam koniec najważniejsze. Dlaczego w ogóle tak się stało? Nic nie kombinowałem z modułami, a teoretycznie aktualizacje nie dotyczyły tego fragmentu systemu. Ingerencja z zewnątrz? Jakiś "obcy element" z internetu? Czy może "zły zbieg okoliczności" w systemie?

Zbyt długi tekst i forum obcięło. Lepiej dostarczaj w formie załącznika.

Być może sprawę załatwi jakiś skrypt restartujący połączenie z internetem.

Mam skrypt, który uruchamia mi połączenie internetowe. Jest to coś takiego:

Jednakże, w przypadku problemów z działaniem modemu (czytaj, nie wykrywa go na ttyUSB0), wvdial nie chce się podłączyć. Wczoraj rano działało wszystko w porządku.

A nie jest to sprawa pobierania DNSów przy tym ponownym uruchamianiu?

Dzisiaj spotkało mnie dokładnie to samo (odnośnie myszy i dźwięku), dopisanie modułów do /etc/modules faktycznie pomogło, tylko ciekawy jestem co spowodowało takie zachowanie systemu bo tak samo jak szmergiell absolutnie nic nie mieszałem w systemie ostatnio, tylko aktualizacje.

fnmirk, to raczej nie jest ten problem. Miałem ustawione /etc/resolv.conf i zablokowane na ext3 przy użyciu chattr +i. Zmieniłem to tak, jak jest tutaj opisane.
Całość wygląda tak, jakby przy uruchamianiu system nie montował USB, pomimo tego, że w syslogu pojawia się informacja o tym, że jest zamontowany.
Dobitnie o tym świadczy komunikat:

Czy w takim razie jest jakaś komenda, by odmontować modem i zamontować go ponownie? Albo inaczej: jak zdalnie odłączyć i podłączyć, żebym nie musiał tego robić ręcznie, poprzez wyciągnięcie z USB.

Generalnie w ogóle coś się pokaszaniło po ostatniej aktualizacji.
Konsole/Yakuake restartuje mi iksy i wylogowuje, K3B nie wykrywa nagrywarki, z dyskiem zewnętrznym USB walczę od 2 miesięcy i d... zbita. W ¯yciu nie miałem takich szopek z Linuksem a używam go ponad 5 lat, powoli tracę cierpliwość i zaczyna mnie szlag trafiać bo akurat nie mam czasu bawić się systemem, musi wszystko działać, a nie działa.
Dziwi mnie i martwi że tylko 2 osoby z tego co widzę mają jakieś problemy po aktualizacji i tym bardziej nie potrafię tego zrozumieć.
