Fakt ale to żadne rozwiązanie a skoro nikt inny się nie skarży więc chyba da się rozwiązać ten problem.

Mam ten sam problem z restartem X kiedy uruchamiam quante. Kiedy uruchamiam w konsoli quante to wyskakuje błąd

quanta: Fatal IO error: client killed

i restartują się X. wie może ktoś jak to rozwiązać?

mały problem: nie mam belek w oknach :/

Spróbuj dodać do autostartu emerald --replace (jeśli w compizie jest emerald, bo nie pamiętam :P)

Mam dziwny problem z compizem :/ Zainstalowałem compiz-fusion na sterownikach fglrx i przez tydzień wszystko idealnie chodziło, ale dzisiaj włączam komputer i compiz przestał działać, nie ma belek i żadnych efektów.

W tle działają 2 procesy compiz-fusion :-/, gdy wpisze w konsoli:

Compiz działa, więc usunąłem wszystkie wpisy w System/Preferencje/Sesje i po ponownym uruchomieniu komputera nie ma już procesów w tle, ale po ponownym dodaniu wpisu compiz nie startuje :-/

Usunąłem compiz razem z plikami konfiguracyjnymi i dalej nic :-/, stworzyłem nowego użytkownika, ale nic się nie zmieniło, później próbowałem uruchomić compiz razem ze starem komputera poprzez skrypt z opóźnieniem:

We wrzesniu 2007 instalowalem debiana, no i do tego zainstalowalem compiz fusion, ale wtedy byl baaardzo niestabilny i nie raz mialem przez niego problemy z systemem. Jak jest teraz, wciaz taki niestabilny ?

Ja już 3-4 miesiące korzystam z Compiza Fusion i dotychczas ani razu mnie nie zawiódł (a karta graficzna nie najlepsza- Radeon 9200 SE).
