KDE4 - przeźroczystość i efekty - Debian Sid i ATI X1300

Witam.
Mam pewien problem z konfiguracja efektów na KDE4 (z experimantal).
Mianowicie wyrzuca mi takie coś:
System Settings pisze:Failed to activate desktop effects using the given configuration options. Settings will be reverted to their previous values.

Check your X configuration. You may also consider changing advanced options, especially changing the compositing type.

To działała jednak przy próbie włączenia efektów efekt jest ten sam.

Użyłem metody Kaki http://debian.linux.pl/viewtopic.php?t=665 na włączanie przeźroczystości.

Jednak to spowodowało wywalenie się xów (gdzie sie patrzyło na logi).

Chcę włączyć przeźroczystość i mam z tym problem. Proszę o pomoc i wskazanie błędu jaki popełniam oraz nakierowanie mnie na właściwy tor konfiguracji.

Witam wszystkich, jako że to mój pierwszy post

Mnie udało się odpalić efekty aby za zamkniętych sterownikach tzn fglrx, jak będę miał czas to pobawię się z tym na otwartych.

Musisz ściągnąć sterowniki ze strony ati (http://ati.amd.com/support/driver.HTML), nadać im prawo wykonywalności przez ,,chmod +x'' i odpalić. Potem wystarczy wygenerować config Xorg:

Zainstalowałeś sterowniki? Napisz co zrobiłeś, podaj co wypisuje

Powaliłem Xy :)
Po tym jak usunąłem te niewolne sterowniki to mi w ogóle się nie uruchamia na żadnych configach, leży jak zabity. Znaczy się wstaje mryga i pada, a w konsoli wypisuje, że to nie ,,fatall error''.

To nie dobrze jak nie staje...
Zainstaluj sterowniki z repozytorium, tylko musisz mieć wpisy w /etc/apt/sources.lst odnośnie non-free

Po kilku rozmowach i lekkiej lekturze doszedłem do wniosku że lepiej nie instalować niewolnych sterowników. Argumentowano mi tym że te wolne rozwijają się lepiej i łatwiej dostać pomoc w ich sprawie. Dlatego proszę jak w temacie równoległym http://forum.kde.org.pl/viewtopic.php?pid=7471 o pomoc.
