karta sieciowa Intel 82578 DM konfiguracja pod Debianem Lenny

Czy istnieje pakiet Debiana obsługujący kartę sieciową Intela 82578 DM? W mojej wersji jądra 2.6.26 nie ma modułów do obsługi tej karty. Livecd grml rozpoznał kartę jako Intel gigabit 82578DM i działa ona na nim.
Na stronie intela są sterowniki dla Linuksa, jak przeprowadzić kompilację sterowników?

Nie mam obecnie dostępu do serwera. serwer ma dwie karty sieciowe intela, eth0 wykrywa i mam skonfigurowane połączenie na tym interfejsie.
Polecenie:

daje mi informacje o eth0, że karta jest podniesiona i jakieś itd. oraz informacje o lo.

wyszukałem dwa interfejsy Ethernet. jeden z nich działa i jest to eth0 drugi natomiast oznaczony jest tylko jako:

Grml podał mi pełne nazwy modeli kart sieciowych, także wychodzi na to, że do tej nierozpoznanej karty nie ma sterowników.

wyświetla jakieś błędy, podejrzewam, że makefile jest coś nie tak ze ścieżką do jądra.
Czy ktoś oblatany w temacie mógłby utworzyć z tego archiwum pakiet instalacyjny deb?

I jak się nie wkurzyć i nie odsyłać po takich stwierdzeniach do Google lub nie odpowiadać w ogóle, skoro nawet nie chce Ci się przeczytać ze zrozumieniem i dostarczyć wszystkich informacji, o które zostałeś poproszony. Robisz jakieś głupie posunięcia, z instalacją, nie mające żadnego jeszcze uzasadnienia.

wystarczy użyć jądra w wersji przynajmniej 2.6.31 aby ta karta działała. Masz zbyt nowy sprzęt do instalacji wersji stabilnej Debiana.

Sprawa instalacji tego jądra na obecnej wersji stabilnej jest trochę skomplikowana i wymaga, najlepiej, jakiegoś dostępu do internetu (co jest trochę sprzeczne, bo bez tego nie ma połączenia itd.).

Rozwiązań masz kilka.
Pobranie ręcznie jądra i zależności (skomplikowana i czasochłonna operacja).

Wykorzystanie do instalacji posiadanej dystrybucji uruchamianej z cdromu - grml.
[INDENT]Uruchomienie komputera z livecd i korzystając z poleceń środowiska chroot aktualizując system i instalując nową wersję jądra z backportów Debiana lub od razu aktualizować system do wersji testowej.[/INDENT]

Można też pobrać minimalny obraz wersji testowej Debiana i zainstalować system, jeżeli nic specjalnego jeszcze nie konfigurowałeś w dotychczasowym.

Można pożyczyć od kogoś kartę obsługiwaną przez obecne jądro i po nawiązaniu połączenia, zainstalować potrzebne pakiety.

Producent jak dla mnie bardzo dziwnie umieścił na płycie głównej dwie różne karty to Intel® Dual Gigabit Controller 82574L (karta działa i mam ją skonfigurowaną jako eth0) natomiast to eth1 to Intel 82578DM.
Internet na eth0 mam, także pakiety mogę pobrać, jakie pakiety masz na myśli?

Co do kompilacji nowego jądra, to jak na razie nie mam doświadczenia w tym temacie.

Skoro masz połączenie z internetem, z tego systemu, to go najlepiej zaktualizuj do wersji testowej.

powinno pokazać obydwie karty. Miałeś też dostarczyć informacje z poziomu livecd, a tego nie zrobiłeś.
