Karta sieciowa broadcom 4311

Posiadam router TP-LINK WR642G i mam wyłaczone rozgłaszanie nazwy sieci SSID. Gdy wydam polecenie dhclient wlan0 to nie pobiera adresu IP. Gdy włącze rozgłaszanie nazwy sieci IP jest pobierane.

Więc jak skonfigurować system aby automatycznie pobierał adres IP z routera przy wyłączonym rozgłaszaniu nazwy sieci?

Witam.

Mam ten sam problem. Korzystasz z nowego jądra 2.6.24? Bo zauważyłem, że problem ten pojawia się jedynie z nowym modułem b43, który w nowym kernelu będzie odpowiadał za obsługę kart Broadcoma.

Najprawdopodobniej więc jest to wina tego nowego modułu, gdyż przy module bcm43xx problem z pobieraniem adresu nie występuje. Chyba będzie trzeba to zgłosić twórcom b43, by do finalnej wersji jądra wszedł już poprawiony moduł.

Korzystam z jądra 2.6.18 i mam zainstalowany przez ndiswrapper sterownik z windowsa do karty sieciowej.

Spróbuj więc uruchomić kartę na module bcm43xx, który jest dostępny w jądrze od 2.6.17-rc2. U mnie działa dobrze i pobiera adres przy wyłączonym rozgłaszaniu. Do modułu bcm43xx potrzebujesz firmware v.3 który ściągniesz dzięki paczce bcm43xx-fwcutter, którą znajdziesz w repo.

Tutaj masz firmware

ściągasz go do home, a później wydajesz komendę

# bcm43xx-fwcutter -w /lib/firmware wl_apsta-3.130.20.0.o

Nie powinno być problemów.

Spróbuj pobrać go ff lub czymś innym. Pamietam, że u mnie też sprawiał problemy pobrany operą... co jest dla mnie niezrozumiałe ;)
